I created a Stage6 channel called “Unreal Engine 3 - Video Tutorials“, this are the videos included on the Collectors Edition of Unreal Tournament 3, they feature a step-by-step learning lessons on how to work with Unreal Engine 3.0 and It’s editor, UnrealEd.

I uploaded this videos for learning porpouses only, and I take no credit whatsoever for they’re content, I’m simply contributing to the Level Design and Moding scene. Knowledge is power, and belongs to the people.

Enjoy, and Happy Mapping! :)

Manhunt 2 PSP ~ Uncensored

manhunt2_uncensored_psp

A group of Russian hackers discovered, 2 days after the release of manhunt 2 for PSP, a way of removing all the censure from the game.

Once again Rockstar is making a mockery of the ESRB rating. First time (HotCoffee), sure it’s an accident. Second? I would think it’s intended. Take Two is basically using the ESRB to generate mass marketing hype and controversies.
It’s way to easy how to remove the strategical placed blur and video effects placed by Rockstar to hide some of the gore, first you need an ISO copy of the game, (Remember, only download the game if you already own it on UMD, I do not support software piracy in ANY way), Open ISO in UMDGEN, Extract both files: PSP_GAME\USRDIR\GLOBAL\LVLSETUP.INI and PSP_GAME\USRDIR\LEVELS\A01_ES\GLVLSET.INI.
Than, erase the folowing code from these files:

—————————————————————————-
# [GK] execution colour ramp options: flash fadein (sec), flash duration (sec), flash fadeout time (sec)
EXECUTION_COLRAMP_TEXTURE  FE_execramps
EXECUTION_COLRAMP_FLASH_TIMES 0.25, 0.6, 0.3
EXECUTION_COLRAMP_FADE_TIME  5.0

Replace the modified .INI files onto the ISO, and enjoy the uncensored Manhunt2, I tryed this myself, and it works perfectly. :)
