Yesterday, ID opened QL to the whole world, for everyone to play! It’s of course, still beta. But if you liked Quake3, then you’ll most likely love this one!

From the time I’m writing this, my thread on crymod has almost 100 000 views, this config has thousands of downloads and I still keep on getting very useful comments and positive feedback on a weekly basis through out all this months!
I want to thank everyone that helped me, help the Crysis gamers having a better joyful experience on what is the most beautiful, stunning game, ever created, and with this config you can unleash the true power of Crysis, even further!

As a big Metal Gear Solid fan, I’m waiting eagerly for the lunch of the last installment of the MGS saga, Metal Gear Solid 4, Guns of the patriots!
The game is already pre-ordered and I’m going to buy a Playstation3 next week as well, just to play another Hideo Kojima masterpiece.

Hélder [HP] Pinto – Ultra High Quality Custom Config V1.3 Final
Increase the quality of Crysis with this Ultra High Quality Autoexec.
This autoexec includes all the features and graphics improvements available on Very High (Dx10).
This config has been tweaked to run Crysis within it’s maximum beauty, while still getting minimally smooth/playable FPS!
Minimum System recommended is a Nvidia 8800, 2GB RAM and a fairly good dual core CPU.
- Better shadows
- HDR
- Parallax Mapping
- Very high quality textures, terrain and vegetation
- Lightning improved
- High Quality particles
- Tweaked Lods for best FPS/Quality relation.
Installing:
1. Paste the “CVarGroups” folder into the folder “*:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Config”, and overwrite the existing one. (Backup you’re old one if you want)
2. Go ingame and set all the Graphics Settings to HIGH.
3. Paste the file “autoexec.cfg”, under the root of you’re Game folder, “*:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game”.

That’s right, for those who doensn’t knew it, CoD3 wasn’t developed by the original company that made it’s predecessors.
